Medezer Foundation Successfully organised a Mental Health session at Anna’s Corner
Mon, Nagaland, as part of its continued commitment to holistic well-being and community
Development.The session was facilitated by Mr. Loungyem a psychiatric social
Worker currently placed in Mon, who also performs the function of Medical social worker at Civil Hospital, Mon.
The program brought together a diverse group of participants, including students and staff
Of Anna’s corner as well as secondary school students from the local community. Through interactive
discussion, participants were encouraged to share their perspective, gain knowledge on recognizing signs of mental health concerns, and explore coping mechanism to enhance emotional resilience.
Through such initiative Medezer Foundation intends to strengthen their mission of promoting
Holistic health, raising awareness and empowering communities with knowledge and adequate support systems. One of the key take aways of the program was the aspect of sharing our feelings and expressing ourselves in a safe and appropriate way.
