At Medezer Foundation we are committed to educating and training the rural youth seeking a career in healthcare. With deep insight into the needs of our ageing population across the country, Medezer’s education platform offers homes the best of quality care combined with a motto to serve. What is unique about our HCA program ?

4 WEEKS ONLINE BASIC INTRODUCTION
With most rural students finding difficulty clearing their 8th/10th standard education, it is imperative that we design the syllabi that are easy to understand and yet orient students well. The course is accessible to students through an online app, which allows students to not only access content from their homes, at the same time the platform enables students to interact with our tutors on a weekly basis.

8 WEEKS OF HOSPITAL/ INSTITUTION INTERNSHIP
Once the students pass the basic assessment, students are then placed for an 8-week internship placement tour partner Hospital/Care Homes.

Selection Criteria • Basic knowledge of Mobile/ Computer based learning/ Microsoft Office tools • 8th or 10th standard pass • Willing to work in Hospital/Home based environment during internship • Must be willing to do night shifts.

CERTIFICATE on completion of full 3 months of training

Dedicated team working round the clock to carry out home visits on an on-call basis.
The team headed by a full-time doctor, nursing staff and healthcare assistant carry out home visits to offer medical care support for geriatric patients, palliative care, long-term care assistance support.
In most cases, especially for those who are financially not able to get higher speciality consultations,
Team Medezer acts as a bridge between the home as well as experts available to help these cases.

The following areas have been where we have had most calls needing help:

• Physiotherapy Support
• Post Surgery Care
• Stroke management

Currently we have over 100 homes, who have enrolled as part of the Home-Based Care program of Medezer.

Community Outreach camps

As part of their outreach program, Team Medezer conducts periodical free community camps at various urban settings in Bangalore. These camps are meant for those from marginalised backgrounds.
